Sister of Providence Mary Jo Stewart, age 91, died on April 20 in Lourdes Hall, St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. She was born on Sept. 25, 1927 in Terre Haute, Indiana. In the Diocese of Jackson, she worked at Sacred Heart Southern Missions, Walls from 1986-96 and Catholic Community Outreach in Holly Springs from 1996-98. The wake and Mass of Christian Burial were held at Church of the Immaculate Conception on April 26. Burial was in the cemetery of the Sisters of Providence.
