PEARL – St. Jude Parish celebrated an outdoor Mass for the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity on May 31. Gustavo Jimenez and Ivanna Lozano led the procession, followed by Gab Sullivan, Dori Paczak, Deacon Mark Bowden, and Deacon John McGregor.
Rita Ignatius, dressed in red, offered the Prayer of the Faithful in Hindi, while other prayers were spoken in a variety of languages, including German, Spanish, Czech and Tagalog. (Photo by Tereza Ma)
JACKSON – Holy Family Parish celebrated Flores de Mayo, a monthlong devotion honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayer, reflection and the offering of flowers. The celebration concluded with the Santacruzan, a traditional procession commemorating the discovery of the True Cross by St. Helena, known as Reyna Elena. Participants portrayed biblical and historical figures whose lives exemplify faith, hope and charity.
