Religion classes
TUPELO — Children who attended vacation Bible school (VBS) at St. James Parish are asked to wear their T-shirts to the 10:30 a.m. Mass Sunday, Aug. 29. The youth will sing songs they learned during the VBS in June.
The parish will hold a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training for teens and adults Sunday, Aug. 22, after the 10:30 a.m. Mass and Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m.
Youth interested in playing or singing in the Corpus Christi band need to contact Lynn Weeks. Youth should be able to read and play basic chords.
CYO lock-in
MERIDIAN — All juniors of the Catholic Youth of Meridian (JCYM) are invited to a lock-in Saturday, Aug. 21, in the Family Life Center from 6:30 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. It will be a night filled with prayer and fun.
The JCYM and CYM will not meet Sunday, Aug. 22.
Theology of body
McCOMB — St. Alphonsus Parish will offer the program “Theology of the Body for Teens,” which answers questions teens have about their bodies and issues on sexual morality, on Wednesdays from 6 - 7:15 p.m.

Parents’ meeting
WEST POINT — Immaculate Conception Parish will hold a CYO parent meeting Saturday, Aug. 21, after the 5 p.m. Mass at the rectory. This year’s activities will be discussed.
New youth director
GLUCKSTADT — Paul Macias, a native of Hattiesburg and graduate of Notre Dame University, is the new youth director at St. Joseph Parish.
New youth coordinator
COLUMBUS — Tiffany Neuman, lay ecclesial minister at West Point Immaculate Conception Parish, is the new youth coordinator at Annunciation Parish.
“My passion is working with teens,” she recently said. “I hope I can make the CYO experience at Annunciation powerful and unforgettable. My hope is when our young people leave the parish they will be prepared and empowered to live out their faith.”
Registration for CYO and religious education classes for kindergarten through sixth-grade will be held Sundays, Aug. 22, 29, after the 8 and 10:30 a.m. Masses.
Day of fun, faith
McCOMB — All fathers and sons (six-18) are invited to join Kepha for a day of fun and faith Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
There will be games, a charitable activity and tubing down the river. Lunch will be provided. Cost is $10 per person, maximum $30 per family.

FLOWOOD — St. Paul Parish religious education classes will begin Sunday, Sept. 12, at 9:15 for kindergarten through sixth-graders.
For seventh-12th-graders classes are held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 15.

Mass, cook-out
MADISON — St. Francis of Assisi Parish is inviting all seventh-12th-graders and their parents to Mass, a cook-out and friendly competitions Sunday, Aug. 29, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Prayer breakfast resumed Aug. 17 at Beagle Bagel in Madison. All ninth-12th-graders are invited.
All ninth-12th-graders are invited to join from 7 - 7:45 a.m. on Tuesdays.
