St. Joseph School offers camps
MADISON — St. Joseph School will hold a cheerleader camp for girls entering first-sixth grades July 30-Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. - noon. Cost is $100. Registration forms are available on the website.
A percussion camp is set for July 16- 20 and a band camp for July 23-27. The time will be announced later in the summer. Students will march from 8 - 11 a.m. and will practice music inside from 1 - 3 p.m.

Trip to water park
COLUMBUS — Annunciation Parish is organizing a trip to Geyser Falls Water Park in Philadelphia for Saturday, July 28. Cost is $40 per person plus money for lunch and extras.
Youth planning to participate are asked to turn in a permission form and the money to the church office by July 24. For information contact Tiffany Neuman, 662-328-2927 ext. 12, annunciationcyo@gmail.com.

Braves game
MERIDIAN — The youth of the Catholic Community of Meridian will travel to Jackson Sunday, July 15, to see a Mississippi Braves game. The buses will leave St. Patrick at 2:30 p.m. and will return around 10 p.m. Cost is $5 per person plus money for food.
The youth are invited to go the Gulf Islands Water Park in Gulfport on Tuesday, July 17. The bus will leave St. Patrick at 8 a.m. and will return at around 6:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per person plus the cost of food. “Thursdays with Jesus” meets for Adoration at 6 p.m. followed by fellowship.

Apply for ‘Young Arts’
MIAMI, Fla. — Young Arts, is a program for students in grades 10th-12th or ages 15-18 dedicated to encouraging and recognizing artistic excellence in the visual, literary and performing arts sponsored by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.
Students participating in this program will have access to scholarships, career opportunities and professional contacts. Visit www.youngarts.org to apply for details on the application requirements for each discipline and the application process. Deadline for the application is Oct. 19.

Redbirds game
TUPELO — St. James Parish senior CYO will go to the Memphis Redbirds game Saturday, July 21. The group will leave at 4 p.m. from the Catholic Life Center. Participants are asked to bring their signed permission slip with them on the day of the event.
The junior CYO will leave for Cathedral Caverns on Sunday, July 22, after the 8 a.m. Mass.
