‘Over Night Laser Tag’
TUPELO — St. James Parish youth are invited to an “Over Night Laser Tag” Sunday, June 13, leaving from the Catholic Life Center at 10 p.m. and returning at 8 a.m. Monday, June 14.
Cost is $30 per person and includes pizza. Participants will play laser tag all night.
Canoe trip
MADISON — St. Francis of Assisi Faithful Followers (9th-12th-graders) are planning a trip to the Okatoma River Monday, June 14. Parent drivers and chaperones are needed.
Annual stock sale
JACKSON — St. Richard Parish teens from Alive (7th, 8th and 9th graders) will sell shares of stock after all Masses Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13. Proceeds will go toward their summer mission trip to the Catholic Heart Workcamps in Nashville, Tenn., and Orlando, Fla.
A share of stock is $5 and a block of stocks is $10.
First place
in engineering
SOUTHAVEN — Sacred Heart eighth-grader, Will Dickson, was recently awarded first place in engineering on the state level at the Mississippi Science and Engineering Fair held at Mississippi State University in Starkville. Dickson qualified to compete at state after winning first place at the regionals held at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He also received a special awards in engineering presented by the United States Air Force.
