Youth group meeting
HOLLY SPRINGS — St. Joseph Parish youth group will meet Wednesday, March 31, at 6 p.m. All youth over 13 years of age are invited to participate in youth activities.
The confirmation retreat will be held Saturday, April 3, starting at 1 p.m.
April Fool’s Extravaganza
JACKSON — Mu Phi Epsilon, Millsaps College’s music honor society, will host the first April Fool’s Extravaganza Tuesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in the Ford Academic Complex Recital Hall.
The event, a riotous concert with skits, music, and more, is a benefit concert for the Boys & Girls Club of Central Mississippi, Capitol Unit. Tickets are $5 and include a raffle and a silent auction with items from Corkscrew Inc., Beagle Bagel and others.
‘Life is a Canvas’
MADISON — St. Joseph School will hold its sixth annual senior art show, “Life is a Canvas,” Sunday, March 28, 7 - 9 p.m. in the school’s Center for the Arts. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free and open to the public.

Rummage sale in Natchez
NATCHEZ — St. Mary Parish youth will hold a rummage sale Saturday, March 27, beginning at 6 a.m.
To arrange a drop-off time call Amanda Hudson, 601-445-5616. Proceeds will help with expenses for students to attend the Catholic Heart Mission trip this summer. For information call Amanda Hudson, 601-445-5616.
The parish CYO, JCYO and KCYO will lead the living Stations of the Cross Sunday, March 28, at 5 p.m. The stations will begin in front of St. Mary Basilica and will move throughout the downtown area. The youth are asked to arrive at 4:30 p.m.
The youth will also participate in the Palm Sunday Vigil Mass Saturday, March 27. The blessing of palms and procession will begin at 4:45 p.m.
The children’s choir will participate in the Mass.

Monthly activity
SOUTHAVEN — On Sunday, March 21, Christ the King Parish high school youth will meet for their monthly activity at Olive Branch Park (parking lot at the tennis courts) from 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Food will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a drink, tennis rackets, footballs, soccer balls, frisbees, and walking shoes. If it rains, youth will meet in the church social hall.
Monthly activity
MERIDIAN — The next Mass for the youth of the Catholic Community of Meridian will be Saturday, March 20, at 5 p.m. at St. Patrick Church.
The choir will practice at 3:30 p.m.
The youth Bible study will meet Sunday, March 28, at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center Senior CYM Room.
All youth are encouraged to attend the Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent at 6 p.m. Check the youth bulletin board for locations.
Meeting on Palm Sunday
TUPELO — St. James Parish religious education classes will meet on Palm Sunday, March 28. This day was not on the original schedule but some special activities have been planned for the day.
The parish youth choirs will present a spring concert on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, between the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses. The May crowning will be held after the 8 a.m. Mass followed by a Mother’s Day breakfast.
Horseback riding
COLUMBUS — Annunciation Parish youth will go horseback riding at the Overstreets Sunday, March 21. Participants are asked to meet at noon in the activities center to carpool.
Playing for charity
VICKSBURG — St. Aloysius School Lady Flashes and Madison St. Joseph School Bruins will play Tuesday, March 30, at Bazinsky Field.
All gate fees and concessions will be divided by the playing teams to benefit their favorite cancer charity. Junior Varsity plays at 5:30 p.m. and varsity plays at 6:30 p.m.
The annual St. Aloysius and St. Francis Alumni banquet will be held Saturday, April 24. Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. at St. Paul Church. A social and banquet will follow in St. Michael Parish hall. For information call 601-630-9762.
The summer youth football camp will be held Monday-Thursday, June 7-10, on the St. Aloysius football field, from 8:30 a.m. - noon. Cost is $120 for the full camp. Deadline to register is Tuesday, April 27. The camp is limited to the first 40 registered. Call 601-636-2256.
Dates for Coach Richard Hodges summer basketball school for first - sixth grades are June 23-25 and June 28-30 in the St. Aloysius gym. Cost is $100 for the first child, $80 for second, $60 for third child.

Easter egg hunt
JACKSON — St. Richard Parish ALIVE youth group (seventh-ninth graders) will host an Easter egg hunt for children ages one through sixth grade Sunday, March 28, from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on the football field.
The Easter Bunny will visit the children. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each age division
