“Annual Women’s Retreat,” Oct. 24-26. Participants will come to see the place of balance and integration of the “Mary and Martha” in themselves, honoring the gifts of each.

The Dwelling Place
Summer directed retreat, Aug. 1-10. Cost is $70 per day (weekdays:), $75 per day (weekends), $35 per day, daytime only. Enjoy a time of solitude and prayerful reflection primarily using Scripture. Meet daily with the director for guidance and mutual discernment. Join the community in daily worship.
Come for the length of time that is convenient for you.
“Come and See: What makes The Dwelling Place tick?” Aug. 22-23. Donation is a personal offering. Come and see what this Dwelling Place Community and their associates are all about. Come, if you are interested in being part of this group that conducts the ministry of The Dwelling Place. Come if you want to assist in this ministry. Come and feel the Franciscan spirit that permeates this place and fills and draws these people.

Benedictine Center
“Praying with Clay,” July 27-Aug. 1. No previous experience with clay necessary. Private rooms, $395; shared rooms, $375 per person.
Annual Healing Grief Retreat, Friday-Sunday, Aug. 1-3. This retreat will provide a spiritual framework for helping to heal the grief of those who have experienced the death of a loved one. The experience can also be beneficial for those who minister to the grieving.
Cost is $195 for private rooms, and $175 per person for shared rooms.
“Reflection Day on St. Paul,” Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sister Therese Haydel, OSB, will present “Custody of the Heart: Freedom and Slavery in the Writings of Paul.” She will focus on Paul’s use of freedom and slavery language to articulate what it means to be “in Christ.” Cost is $45 per person and includes lunch. Pre-registration is required.
“Introduction to Centering Prayer,” Aug. 29-31. A method of Christian prayer rooted in the ancient Christian contemplative tradition. This workshop/retreat is designed for those new to Centering Prayer. Private rooms and the ability to maintain silence are required. Cost is $175, private rooms only.

“Cultivating Happiness: A Day of Renewal for Women,” Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Time for private reflection and group discussion will be provided.
“Time Well Spent: Jesus, The Woman at the Well and You,” Sept. 5-7. A silent retreat to be presented by Molly McCarthy and Claudia Addison.
