“Speak Lord I’m Listening” retreat, Friday-Sunday, July 23-25. This retreat is for men and women using the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Father Bill Henry, pastor of Jackson St. Therese Parish, will be the retreat leader.

The Dwelling Place
“Come to the Quiet,” Sept. 3-5. Come to experience God’s presence in silence and through personal and shared prayer with the community. Cost is $150.
Three or five-day directed retreats, Aug. 5-9. A personally guided prayer experience adapted to the individual to “get away to be still and pray.” Donation is $70 per day.
“Come and See,” July 16-17. “Come, feel” the Franciscan spirit that permeates this place and fills and draws these people. “Come and meet” some who form this circle of Christian believers who seek to follow the Spirit’s direction in the ministry of the Dwelling Place. Donation is $60.

Directed retreats — Aug. 2-11, Aug. 23-Sept. 1. Five-day and three-day directed retreats start on these same days. Thirty-day directed retreats are also offered.
“Cultivating Happines: A Day of Renewal for Women,” Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This day will allow participants to retreat to a quiet place and reconnect with their creator.

Benedictine Center
“Reflections on the Spirituality of Henri Nouwen,” July 16-18. Dr. Joseph Howell, a clinical psychologist and spiritual director, will reflect on Nouwen’s spirituality and theology.The retreat will provide free time for personal reflection, journaling, processing a conversation, or simply napping. Cost for private room is $195; shared room $175 per person.
“Healing Grief Retreat,” Aug. 6-8. Through prayer, reflection, conferences and small group interaction, participants can grow in their understanding of the grief process, and draw upon their spirituality as a means of healing. The retreat will be led by the Rev. Carl Malm, grief minister and healthcare chaplain.
Cost for private room is $195; shared room $175 per person.
