The directive requesting that Holy Communion not be distributed from the cup is rescinded effective June 14, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The directive restricting the Sign of Peace is also rescinded effective June 14.
The recent scare with the H1N1 “Swine” flu has taught us that we need to be ever vigilant in practicing good hygiene especially with regards to Mass and the distribution of the Eucharist.
