Parishes prepare for vacation Bible school
        Parishes in the Diocese of Jackson are preparing to offer their Vacation Bible schools. Adult and youth volunteers are needed in all parishes.
        Booneville St. Francis, June 1-5 for children in K-through fourth grade. To register call 662-728-7509.
        Clarksdale St. Elizabeth and Immaculate Conception, June 8-12 for children currently in Pre-K3 - fourth grade.
        Cleveland Our Lady of Victories, Crocodile Dock will be held June 28-July 2 from 6 - 8 p.m.
        Corinth St. James, July 13-16, from 9 a.m. - noon for children in Pre-K to sixth grades. The focus is “Marvelous Mystery — the Mass comes alive!” Contact Linda Gunther, 662-287-1051.
        Flowood St. Paul, June 1-5 for children ages five through 11-years-old. Cost is $25 per child and $45 per family. Call Sarah O’Donnell, 601-919-3962.
        Gluckstadt St. Joseph, June 15-17 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. for children ages four through fourth grade.
        Greenville St. Joseph, June 22-26 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
        Greenwood Immaculate Heart of Mary, June 14-20. During the week, there will be food, games, a bonfire and music for teenagers on the grounds of St. Francis Church.

        Madison St. Francis, June 22-26. Explore the Wonders of the World — Discovery Canyon. Call Mary Catherine George, 601-856-5556. All kindergarten-fourth grade explorers, youth and parents who would like to volunteer are invited.
        — A Creativity Canyon Drama and Art Camp will be offered for fifth graders and up June 22-26 from 8:30 a.m. - noon. Registration forms are available in the church and the Family Life Center.
        Magee St. Stephens, Crocodile Dock, June 22-26 from 9 - 11:30 a.m. for ages Pre-K - sixth grade. Call Eula Purvis or Tamara Thiel. Volunteers can be 13 years and over. There will be a workshop for all volunteers at the end of May.
        McComb St. Alphonsus, June 8-12. “Ready to Rome?” Call 601-684-5933.
        Meridian St. Patrick, June 1-5 from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for all kindergarten through fourth graders.
        Natchez St. Mary Basilica, June 1-5 from 8:30 a.m. - noon for children four-years-old to fifth grade. Cost of attending Crocodile Dock is $20 for first child, $15 for second child and $10 for third child and more. A special VBS Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 6, at 5 p.m.
