Request free tickets to see pope in Yankee Stadium
JACKSON – Pope Benedict XVI will be making a pastoral visit to the United States April 15 – 20. During his visit he will travel to the Archdioceses of Washington and New York and participate in several events including an address to the United Nations.
The Archdiocese of New York is offering a limited number of tickets to the Mass celebrated by the Holy Father in Yankee Stadium on April 20, 2008. Ticket requests for the Mass are being coordinated through local diocesan offices.
If you would like to request tickets for this Mass, contact Mary Woodward, director of the Department of Evangelization, at 601-960-8475 no later than Dec. 21. Ticket requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Archdiocese of New York must have all diocesan requests for total number of tickets in by Jan.1, 2008. Therefore in order to process our requests, we must have all individual requests in by Dec. 21, Woodward said.
