Spring Hill course surveys Christology JACKSON — A general survey of traditional Christology, beginning with the origins in scripture and including contemporary theories, is the focus of the Spring 2008 Spring Hill College course, “Christology and Trinity.”
Dr. George Gilmore, a full-time professor of theology at Spring Hill College in Mobile, will teach the class.
Classes will be held on Saturdays Dec. 1 and 8, Jan. 5 and 19, and Feb. 2 and 16, 2008, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at St. Joseph High School in Madison.
The course will examine the Christological and Trinitarian controversies of the patristic era and councils, note Aquinas’ theological methodology, Mohler’s ecclesiological Christology, and will culminate with a Trinitarian Christology.
Tuition is $225 per credit hour. Scholarship assistance for tuition may be available. Tuition may be spread over a number of months for a nominal enrollment fee through Tuition Management Systems.
