25th Bishop’s Cup rescheduled Oct. 4 JACKSON — The Silver Anniversary Bishop’s Cup Golf Tournament was rained out Sept.13. Tournament play (12:30 p.m. shotgun start, stroke play) and the banquet/auction (5 p.m.) are rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 4, at Colonial Country Club, according to George Roman, director of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Jackson.
The auction includes items like a 7-day, 7-night two bedroom timeshare condo – choose the city; dinner with Bishops Joseph Latino and William Houck and Sister Dorothea Sondgeroth of St. Dominic’s with four guests at the home of Mark and Mary Shapley; one night at the Golden Moon with dinner and golf at Dancing Rabbit in Philadelphia … and much more.
Re-confirmation forms have been mailed to all golf and dinner registrants. However, anyone can still register for golf or the dinner/auction by calling the Catholic Foundation at 601-960-8479 or 601-960-8487.
